– All in one GAME updates, New game release, 2024 games, upcoming games, trending games, latest discovery and game reviews.
With the right to a special episode of WoWCastthe anniversary event promises to bring that taste of nostalgia with a dash of explosive news that will make any player feel like a true hero of Azeroth again. Let's dive headfirst into this update and see what Holly Longdale and company have in store for us with the 11.0.5 content update.
What to expect from the 11.0.5 update?
In the recent episode of WoWCast, executive producer Holly Longdale and other members of the development team, along with the community manager Bethany Stoohave given a preview of what's to come. Update 11.0.5 promises to expand the already vast content of The War Withinwith class balancing, new missions, changes and the long-awaited expansion of playable classes for the dracthyr.
Ah, the dracthyrthose “little dragons” that recently arrived to add a little more chaos (and scaly beauty) to Azeroth. For those who were tired of seeing the same dragon giving blasts of fire, we have good news: now they will be able to play with six more new classes, such as rogue, wizard and priest. That's right, a stealthy dragon as a rogue, stealing hearts and loot. Nothing more fair, right?
Dragons, Mages, Priests and Rogues: Blizzard really wants to cause trouble!
I just wonder how a dracthyr rogue will be able to sneak around with that whole dragon pose. If we compare, it's almost like seeing a Hulk trying to do parkour: over the top and probably hilarious. It will be interesting to see how players will adapt these new classes to the aesthetics and abilities of the dracthyr. Speaking of comparisons, have you ever stopped to think about what a crossover between WoW and game of Thrones? I would pay to see the dracthyr duel Daenerys' dragons.
Nostalgia and New Adventures: the perfect balance
With the celebration of 20 years of World of Warcraftthere is no way not to be hit by that punch in the stomach of nostalgia. After all, whoever played WoW since the early days you've probably seen a lot change in Azeroth: from Illidan with his catchphrases Sylvanas touching on terror, this universe has always been a cauldron of emotions.
On the other hand, it is impressive to see how the Blizzard still manages to innovate. The inclusion of new classes and mechanics is what keeps the game fresh, even after two decades. Class balancing also promises to bring a new dynamism to battles, something essential to keep the competitive meta alive and constantly evolving. And, of course, new missions added with Patch 11.0.5 should ensure that no one will be left standing still for long in Azeroth.
And if you are one of those who likes to show off the epic constructions you have made in The War Withinget ready! Blizzard is bringing some hot news for housing lovers. Will we finally be able to build a Battle Tavern with theme of You challenge? We hope so!
Reviving Azeroth: The Battle Continues
Speaking of quests and adventures, the new content in The War Within takes us back to the depths of Khaz Algarwhere our heroes will face new challenges as they explore ancient caves and face dark creatures. If you already thought the region was Blackrock difficult, wait until you face what awaits you in Khaz Algar. But, as always, it is good to prepare your best gear and your guild, because these missions will not be easy at all.
Furthermore, the raids promise to be epic, with exclusive rewards that will put a smile on any armor collector’s face. Who knows, you might even walk away with a brand-new legendary armor to show off on your next mount?
20 Years of WoW: A Legacy of Success
If we go back in time, to 2004, when World of Warcraft was released, it's hard to believe the impact it had (and continues to have) on the gaming industry. That little MMORPG that started as an extension of Blizzard's strategy games quickly grew into one of the biggest online games of all time.
Millions of players around the world have entered Azeroth, made friends, enemies, lost (and gained) many nights of sleep in endless raids. WoW community is one of the most dedicated and passionate, and it is no wonder that the game has managed to maintain its relevance for so long. Who would have thought that, 20 years later, we would still be discussing it? balanced class, Intense PvP and epic mounts?
With so many new features coming with the 11.0.5 update and the 20th anniversary celebration, the question that everyone wants to know is: What else does Blizzard have in store for players? Will we see the return of an iconic villain? Or perhaps an even more ambitious new expansion? Only time will tell.
