2021 was the year of change.

The year 2021 was special for Mari Saad, at 26 years old, the businesswoman and content creator returned to YouTube, moved and needed to resignify moments over the last few months, she turned things around and reached the peak with her makeup line.

One of the major turning points was the decision to launch the Special Day collection, which was initially designed to coincide with the date of her wedding to Guilherme Suetugo, her boyfriend of 8 years. However, when the relationship ended, Mari rethought the collection's proposal to address the idea that every day is special, since she has experienced this firsthand.

When her relationship ended, Mari had her personal life exposed in a way that had never happened before. The influencer and businesswoman recognizes that revealing the breakup to the public was the fairest thing to do because she started online while she was already dating. On the other hand, not justifying the decision was a gesture in favor of her mental health.

“Being low profile is related to my well-being. I try to keep my sanity up to date, and the fuel for this is feeling at peace with myself. I recognize that the internet is currently very heated, with people giving their opinions on other people’s lives. I never considered having a public life and being exposed as an obligation to listen to other people’s opinions. I was born on the internet talking about my workspace, what I know how to do and what I can contribute with my tips. It’s one thing to talk about my professional side because I have a direction and I’m specialized in it, it’s another thing to talk about feelings. Unlike what people think, I didn’t specialize in my personal life. With wisdom, I understood that if I went on and justified myself, I would be giving voice to something that could change at any time. Our decisions change too. What doesn’t change is the empire I’m building, my desire to make things happen and my daily struggle. This is my legacy”, reinforces.

2021 also marked her return to YouTube, where Mari started. She says that the pressure was not only from the public, but mainly from herself and that, to resolve this issue, Mari has been posting videos on her channel about her changes.

Regarding her move, the businesswoman needed a larger property that would make her feel at home. “It’s crazy because it feels like I didn’t own the old apartment. As if Mariana didn’t talk to this one. As if they weren’t friends and had never met in their lives. This shows that I was changing my mindset and breathing new air. I only moved for functional reasons, because the house was no longer enough. But, aesthetically speaking, it was for a moment of having more peace and making important decisions. It’s a calm apartment, with a cozy feeling. The house is a symbol of my evolution, of how much I’m fighting to grow. It’s magical and special.”

Mari is one of the names considered for participation in BBB 22. But she herself has already denied her participation in the program:

“I won’t be on Big Brother. I don’t know where they got that from and I have no desire to know. I’m very focused on continuing to meet the goals. The company really needs me right now…” said Quem magazine.
