6 gadgets to make your home office more organized and productive

The home office is under attack at the beginning of 2025. CEOs, politicians and a certain billionaire have been increasingly insistent in defending the return to 100% in-person work. Despite this, the number of those who consider the possibility of working from home as one of the most desired benefits continues to grow.

If you're one of the millions of people who continue to work from home, you've probably learned that to make the experience comfortable, you need much more than a laptop, a good chair and a suitable desk.

At CES 2025, several items on display appear to be aimed (at least in part) at remote workers. Here is a selection of the most interesting options.

SAMSUNG SMART MONITOR M9

This monitor not only offers a crystal clear screen quality, incorporating OLED technology for the first time, but also uses artificial intelligence to determine the type of content being displayed (such as games, videos or productivity applications).

This way, it can automatically adjust display settings to offer the best visual experience. This same technology is being incorporated into Samsung TVs.

Additionally, the monitor improves the resolution of low-quality content, making it look like 4K. Because it is OLED, it is a thinner device, taking up less space on the table.

HEXCAL STUDIO

One thing you soon realize when setting up your home office is how much space the equipment takes up. Hexcal Studio helps you organize and manage all your paraphernalia – like monitors, speakers, laptops and other devices.

HP OMNIDESK PCs

XEBEC SNAP BRACKET (AND ACCESSORIES)

Maybe you use a laptop in your home office, or you travel so much that a hub doesn't make sense since you can't carry a monitor around. The Xebec Snap Bracket adds an ultra-thin and ultra-light (but high visual quality) second (or even third) monitor to the laptop.

SYNOLOGY BEESTATION PLUS

Synology BeeStation Plus stores up to 8 TB of data and comes pre-configured, reducing the number of configuration steps. It's not exactly plug and play, but it's pretty close.

NETGEAR ORBI 870

The WiFi revolution is coming, with increased data transmission speeds and faster downloads.

The Netgear Orbi 870 is one of many router/repeater options on the market, but considering recent concerns about certain competitors (which hackers have used to gain control of connected devices), Netgear's solid security reputation may be worth the extra cost.

The Orbi 870 automatically downloads patches and firmware updates, taking this responsibility out of the user's hands.
