Land and Passion: Antônio is threatened by Irene
In “Terra e Paixão”, a soap opera shown by Rede Globo, after discovering that Antônio (Tony Ramos) has an affair with Berenice (Thati Lopes), Irene (Gloria Pires) sent a snake “as a gift” to the girl, who was outrageous and returned the “kindness”.
“A girl you know very well. And who came to give me back the rattlesnake and make a fuss. I should feel humiliated”, replies Irene.
THREAT
To try to get away from his wife’s anger, Antônio denies that he has any kind of relationship with the girl. “This is all a mess. I have nothing to do with her”.
Irene pretends to believe her husband, but doesn’t miss the chance to threaten him. “If I find out anything else, I’ll have the rattlesnake put inside your boot,” she says.
