Vasco fans protest before team training

A group of fans gathered this morning in front of CT Moacyr Barbosa, in Barra da Tijuca, to protest against the poor results presented by Vasco this season. Tempers flared after the historic 6-1 defeat suffered by Cruzmaltino in the classic against Flamengo, last Sunday (2).

Banners and flags criticizing the team's performance were displayed in front of the CT, aimed mainly at leaders of the Cruzmaltino squad and also at members of the club's board of directors. “Loose cast”, “Bums” It is “Shame” were some of the fans' words.

Defensive sector was heavily criticized

The group's main targets are in the defensive sector, such as defender Maicon, captain Léo and full-back Puma Rodríguez. Striker Rayan, president Pedrinho and the club's SAF CEO, Lúcio Barbosa, were also heavily criticized.

Vasco returns to the field on the 16th, Thursday, against Palmeiras, in São Paulo.
