“From Caxias to the world”

This Monday (24), Pocah celebrated on her Instagram the international release of her new single, entitled “Call My Gang”. The song won a promotional poster in Times Square, New York (United States).

“Guys, you don’t know how much I dreamed about this! You have no idea how happy I am, as an artist who has worked for this for over 12 years. I heard that it’s harder for women, but it’s not impossible! (…) Right now, there’s a big screen with my face on it in Times Square… a dream come true! Thank you God and thank you to my fans!”celebrated.

The action is part of a partnership between the singer and Spotify to promote “Call My Gang”. The track is the second single from the singer from Rio de Janeiro's first album, called “Caxias’s offspring”which does not yet have a release date.

After betting on afrobeat pop in “Can’t Get It Out Of My Mind”Pocah brought trap to “Call My Gang”. The single addresses themes such as female empowerment, valuing urban culture and breaking stereotypes.
