Jaehaerys Targaryen

Jaehaerys Targaryen, son of Aegon II and his heir at just six years old, was one of the first victims of the second season, in the very first episode. In a revenge plot orchestrated by Daemon Targaryen, two assassins, Blood and Cheese, invaded the royal chambers and forced Helaena, Aegon's wife and sister, to choose which of her sons should die. Unfortunately, Jaehaerys ended up being the victim, resulting in one of the most shocking and tragic moments of the season.

Blood and Cheese

Blood and Cheese, Jaehaerys's assassins, met their ends in brutal fashion after completing their mission in episode 2. Blood was captured while trying to flee King's Landing with Jaehaerys's head and was beaten to death by Aegon II. Cheese, a ratcatcher, remained in hiding but was captured and hanged along with other ratcatchers from King's Landing, showing Aegon's fierce retaliation.

Erryk and Arryk Cargyll

Twins Erryk and Arryk Cargyll, who served on opposite sides of the war, also met a tragic fate in episode 2. Erryk remained loyal to Rhaenyra, while Arryk sided with Aegon II. On a mission to assassinate Rhaenyra, Arryk was confronted by his brother, resulting in a deadly fight between the twins. Lord Gunthor Darklyn

Willem Blackwood

He launched a brutal campaign against House Bracken, spurred on by Daemon Targaryen. The Riverlords demanded justice for the violence, which resulted in Willem's execution by Daemon.
