Samantha Schmutz posts indirect message after fight with Juliette: “Going to find art”

On Monday (16), actress Samantha Schmuthz caused controversy when she commented on a post on her social media questioning the career of former BBB Juliette. The comedian was criticized by fans and celebrities who defended the winner of the reality show. After the episode, Samantha posted an indirect message on her Instagram stories.

The artist is in Cannes, France, attending the local film festival. “Going to find art in…“, she wrote, shortly after which she posted a photo of a mouthwash with the label written in French 'Usa de Bouche'. And the public interpreted the act as an affront to Juliette, since the last two words together form “debauchery” in Portuguese.

The raid began after Samantha commented on a post by 'Ninja Media', where the former BBB appears talking about politics in Brazil. The video's caption read: “When asked about her positions on politics, economics and social issues, Juliette reaffirms 'Everything that affects society concerns us' and defends the importance of artists taking a stand”.

The actress questioned the use of the word artist to refer to the singer. “I think it's great to take a stand, but is she an artist?“. On her Twitter profile, the makeup artist responded: “Art embraces, enchants, excites and transcends any label. Being an artist is something so beautiful and greater than all of this… it is touching others with the best of what is in you, it is giving, it is love, it is truth… So, yes, I AM an artist and an apprentice of many things.“.

The comedian deleted the comment, but the news had already spread.
