Singer and songwriter Rubi Brazil talks about the importance of encouraging and inspiring people on the internet

In the literal sense, an inspiring individual is someone “capable of stimulating, enthusing, influencing. Who induces or influences artistic or intellectual production: inspiring creativity. Who offers ideas that will be altered and executed by another person”, that is, there is no problem in being inspired by someone, however, what should we do when we cannot find inspiration?

Rubi Brazil, born in Rio de Janeiro, showed a passion for the artistic world in her early years. She has always danced, sang, created and written.

As she grew up, she understood that she should fight for what she really likes and, today, she is a singer-songwriter-producer with six recorded singles.

His professional background includes numerous experiences in different countries, such as France, the Dominican Republic, England and the Netherlands.

But where did so much inspiration come from? Rubi Brazil used her own will as a source of inspiration, nurturing within herself the desire that today helps her and influences other people.

Currently, the professional uses her experience to stimulate and inspire Internet users online. “It doesn’t matter your origin, ethnicity, skin color, but if you want to be a reference for others you can, you just need to know how to do it”she says.

Rubi Brazil speaks four languages ​​and became a naturalized citizen in the countries she visited to extract as much as possible from the culture and customs that are different from those she knows, to enrich her mind and apply her knowledge to the lives of those who need it.

At the age of 22, encouraged by her father, she left Brazil and ventured around the world to study and improve her rhythms: “This plurality means a lot to me, it is a great strength in my life”, she explains.

Rubi uses all the culture she acquired throughout her adventure around the world and manages to bring it to the Brazilian rhythm, thus creating a style all her own.

After spending almost 5 months in London, studying music and composition, the artist already has a date to return to Brazil: April.

Rubi is happy as can be and is getting ready to celebrate her birthday at her favorite place: Empório Bar, in Ipanema. For the occasion, Rubi has already announced that there will be plenty of cold beers and rock'n roll, including a show by a cover band of her favorite singer, Janis Joplin.
