– All in one GAME updates, New game release, 2024 games, upcoming games, trending games, latest discovery and game reviews.

Hey there, coaches on duty! If you thought the Pokémon world had already given you everything, get ready because Pokémon World Championships 2024 just proved that this franchise is far from losing steam. It was like a festival, but with epic battles and revelations that left everyone with that feeling of “my Arceus, I need this now!”.

Let's start by talking about the competitions, because man, it was intense! More than 14,000 players and fans gathered in Honolulu, Hawaii – that's right, paradise! – to see who would take home the championship title. And look, there was everything: from the youngest players showing that they're not messing around in the Junior Division, to the established masters who didn't let up and secured their crown. Pokémon Trading Card Game, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Pokémon GO and Pokémon UNITE were the big highlights, with battles that would make even Charizard's jaw drop.

The Junior Division guys went all out, showing that size doesn't matter. Sakuya Ota, from Japan, came out on top in the Pokémon Trading Card Gamewhile Kevin Han from the USA destroyed everything in the video game category. In the Senior Division, it was a battle of giants, but in the end, Ray Yamanaka represented Japan with style. And in the Master Division, the winner was Luca Ceribelli from Italy, proving that Europe also has respectable coaches.

But man, what left everyone's jaws dropped were the ads! The Pokémon Company wasn't joking around and revealed a flood of new features that will make any Pokémon fan lose sleep with anticipation.

And as if that weren't enough, in 2025 we will have a new mechanic that will make the Pokémon Trading Card Game even more insane: the Pokémon Trainer Cards. Have you ever thought about collecting a Clefairy ex from Liliana or a Zoroark ex from N? Well, this is going to become a reality, and I can already imagine people going crazy in battles to get these extremely rare cards.

Now, speaking of Pokémon GOMorpeko is coming to give that boost to your battles. And it’s not coming alone, because now there’s going to be a new feature that allows you to change the form of Pokémon during battles using a Charged Attack. Man, this is going to completely change the meta, and I can’t wait to see what strategies people come up with with this new feature. And look, something mysterious is coming too… could it be a new epic event or maybe a legendary Pokémon? Stay tuned, because something big is coming!

Node Pokémon UNITEthe hype doesn't stop! A new casual battle format is coming, where the first team to reach 500 points takes the win. It’s the kind of thing that will have you shouting at your friends on the call as you try to score that decisive point. And there’s more: Armarouge, Darkrai and Psyduck will be joining the list of playable characters. Can you believe it? Just imagine playing with the Psyduckleaving everyone confused while you blast your opponents!

And as if that wasn't enough, they've even revealed the locations of the upcoming Pokémon World Championships! In 2025, everyone will be in Anaheim, California, from August 15 to 17. And in 2026, pack your bags because the event will be in San Francisco, from August 28 to 30. Think it's over? No, bro! These events promise to be even bigger and more exciting, so start training now because the level is going to be high.

Now seriously, if you're a Pokémon fan, this World Championship was like the cherry on top of 2024. Not only because of the competitions, which are always a spectacle in themselves, but because of the revelations that gave us a taste of what's to come. From the new mechanics of Pokémon Trading Card Game until the updates in Pokémon GO and UNITEit became clear that the Pokémon world is more alive than ever and ready to continue dominating the gaming universe.

And to end with a flourish, a brief summary of the Pokémon franchise: It all started back in 1996, when the world was introduced to the first 151 Pokémon. Since then, the franchise has continued to grow, winning the hearts and minds of millions of players around the world. With games ranging from classic RPG adventures to spin-offs like Pokémon GO, which literally got people out of their homes to capture monsters, Pokémon has become a true living legend in the world of video games. And the Pokémon World Championship is living proof that this passion only grows with time. Year after year, the event brings together the best players and reveals new features that make everyone excited, showing that Pokémon is not just a game – it is a cultural phenomenon.
