Singer Demi Lovato, who was dedicating herself to rock in her latest projects, performed a private show in Los Angeles, California, last Thursday (18) and brought back some of her hits with a pop arrangement. Fans had been speculating about this return since the artist launched an advertisement on her Instagram on Friday (12), where a pop song was playing.

Return to the origins

Although the pop star's appearance was sponsored by hair product brand OGX Beauty, which hired the singer's Instagram advertising and her private show, fans are certain that this marks Demi's return to her old musical rhythm. The singer has been in her rock'n'roll era since 2022, having even held a “funeral” for her pop music on her Instagram, and her latest albums “HOLY FVCK”, from 2022, and “REVAMPED”, from 2023, had a heavier sound and the latter included some of her most famous hits with new arrangements to match her new version.

At the time of her change, some hits like “Give Your Heart a Break” were removed from her setlists because, according to her, they didn’t fit the sound she wanted to make.
