Shakira delivers energetic show at Copa America final

This Sunday (14), Shakira performed during the interval of the Copa América final between Argentina and Colombia, the country where the artist was born. The event, which took place in Miami, at the Hard Rock stadium, is considered the main football tournament in the South American continent.

Shakira's electrifying performance

After setting up the stage, which took a total of 13 minutes, the pop diva opened the show with a track straight out of 2005, “Hips Don't Lie”. It is worth noting that this is the artist's most listened to track on Spotify. Later, Shakira also took “I congratulate you”, feat with Rauv Alejandro, “Punteria”, with Cardi B, and “TQG”, feat. Karol G.

Also Colombian, Karol G, a singer who came to Brazil this year for her “Manãna Será Bonito” tour, starred in an emotional moment when singing the Colombian National Anthem.

Shakira's relationship with sport

Shakira is a “long-time friend” of football, having performed at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, consecrating “Waka Waka”, the theme song, as a major hit of her career. Later, in 2014, the artist brought her nostalgic show to the closing of the World Cup in Brazil.
