Paulinha Abelha (43), one of the members of one of the biggest forró bands in Brazil, was admitted to a hospital on Friday, the 11th, after arriving from a tour she did with the band in São Paulo. The singer, who was diagnosed with kidney, liver and neurological problems, is currently in an induced coma while doctors try to discover what is causing it.

The singer's friends, Lucas Guimarães and Carlinhos Maia, decided to hold a prayer campaign in the early hours of Friday, the 18th, one day after Paulinha's press office announced that she was in a coma. The influencers, who are on a family trip, got together with some friends to pray for the singer's health to improve.

Lucas decided to share this moment of struggle with his followers on Instagram, since everyone knew how close he was to the singer and a few days ago the two were celebrating their friendship with videos of moments together. The influencer's husband posted several videos of moments during the campaign, especially moments of praise and prayer. “We created a cell in honor of our beloved friend Paulinha Abelha. God is with you, we believe in miracles.”he wrote in one of his stories.

The influencer also added that he has never met anyone in the artistic world as humble as Paulinha and who has a heart as beautiful as hers. He ended by saying that he is very excited for the singer's recovery, that he believes in a miracle and that no one should be discouraged, because she will get through this.

So far, the last news that was given to the public about Paulinha was that she is stable and hospitalized in a coma in the ICU of Hospital Primavera, in Aracajú. The alleged news that the singer had suffered brain death has also been dismissed by her band's press office.
