After years of renovations, the Grand Palais, an icon of Parisian fashion and culture, is set to regain its historic grandeur. The House of Chanel, which has a deep connection to the venue, will return to its traditional stage in October 2024 with its Spring/Summer 2025 ready-to-wear show. In addition to this return, the brand has committed to making a significant contribution to Parisian culture, with a donation of 30 million euros to the Grand Palais’ artistic and cultural program between 2024 and 2028.

The return to the historic stage

The palace has always been more than just a backdrop for Chanel. Starting in 2005, under the direction of the brand’s legendary designer Karl Lagerfeld, the space became a platform for monumental shows that explored limitless creativity. From gigantic sculptures to the recreation of a simple, believable supermarket, the venue allowed Chanel to captivate global audiences with its visionary presentations.

Now, with renovations scheduled for completion in 2024, the space will host the House’s Spring/Summer 2025 show. This return not only marks Chanel’s return to the Grand Palais, but also celebrates the symbiotic relationship between the brand and the space.

A commitment to art and culture

In addition to its spectacular shows, Chanel has played a key role in preserving the Grand Palais. In 2018, the Maison supported the restoration of the site, and now, with a donation of 30 million euros for the cultural program from 2024 to 2028, the brand reaffirms its dedication to the artistic and cultural development of Paris.

The renovations to the Grand Palais are aimed not only at preserving its architecture, but also at ensuring its relevance as a modern cultural center. Under the leadership of Didier Fusillier, the new president of the Grand Palais in Paris, the venue is being restored to its original glory, with the reinstatement of its iconic iron and glass structure and the preservation of architectural details from the early 20th century.
