Just like any other year, especially 2020, 2021 was a year with many deaths caused mainly by Covid-19. Among them, many famous people died due to the disease or for other reasons. Therefore, here is a list so that you can remember each of them fondly.
Paulo Gustavo

Paulo Gustavo Amaral Monteiro de Barros was an actor, comedian, director, screenwriter and presenter. He died on May 4, at the age of 42, from Covid-19.
Marilia Mendonca

Marília Dias Mendonça was a singer, composer and instrumentalist who died on November 5th, at the age of 26, in a plane crash.
MC Kevin

Kevin Nascimento Bueno was a funk singer who died on May 16, at the age of 23, and to this day the cause of death is still unknown.
Mila Moreira

Marilda Alves Moreira da Silva was an actress, writer, journalist, presenter, businesswoman and model. She died on December 6, at the age of 75, from cardiac arrest following gastroenteritis.
Christian Wolf

Cristiana dos Santos Mendes Lôbo. Journalist, political commentator on Globonews, anchor of the program “Fatos e Versões” about behind-the-scenes events in Brasília and blogger on G1. She said goodbye to us on November 11th, at the age of 64, after battling cancer, multiple myeloma, which occurs in blood cells called plasma cells, produced in the bone marrow.
Luis Gustavo

Luis Gustavo Sánchez Blanco was a Spanish-Brazilian actor, born in Sweden, who passed away on September 19, aged 87, after battling cancer.
Dudu Braga

Roberto Carlos Segundo, radio host and music producer, died on September 8, at the age of 52. He was the son of singer Roberto Carlo and was undergoing treatment for peritoneal cancer (the membrane that surrounds the abdominal wall).
Sergio Mamberti

Sérgio Duarte Mamberti was a Brazilian actor, director, producer, author, visual artist and politician. He died on September 3, at the age of 82, due to lung infections and multiple organ failure.
Charlie Watts

Charles Robert Watts, British drummer for the rock band The Rolling Stones. He died on August 24, aged 80, and the cause of death was not disclosed.
Paul Joseph

Paulo José Gómez de Sousa was an actor, screenwriter and director. He died on August 11, at the age of 84, due to pneumonia, after 20 days in hospital.
Tarcisio Meira

Tarcísio Pereira de Magalhães Sobrinho was an award-winning actor, considered one of the greatest heartthrobs of his generation. He passed away on August 12 at the age of 85 from Covid-19.
Orlando Drummond

Orlando Drummond Cardoso was an actor, voice actor, comedian and radio host. He is known for his role as Seu Peru on Escolinha do Professor Raimundo and also for voicing the characters Scooby Doo, Alf, Popeye, Vingador, Gato Guerreiro and Puro Osso, among others. He died on July 27th at the age of 101 from multiple organ failure.
Arthur Xexéo

Artur Oscar Moreira Xexéo was a journalist, writer, translator and playwright. He died on July 27 at the age of 69 from cardiorespiratory arrest. He had been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and was hospitalized.
Mabel Calzolari

Maria Belén was an actress and model. She died on June 22 at the age of 21. She suffered from a rare and incurable disease called thoracic arachnoiditis, an inflammation of the spinal cord that causes cysts in the region and can make the patient paraplegic or quadriplegic. After her death, her family donated her organs and her body was cremated.
Eva Wilma

Eva Wilma Buckup was an actress and dancer. She died on May 15 at the age of 87 due to ovarian cancer.
Larry King

Lawrence Harvey Zeiger, an American radio and television presenter, aged 87, died on January 23 after complications from Covid-19.
