AbleGamers Brasil, in its ongoing mission to promote inclusion in the world of video games, announces its newest support for the project “Promoting Autonomy with Stress Management in People with Disabilities”. This free and exclusive psychological support group for PCD gamers will be led by psychologist Elzeário Oliveira.

Based on scientific study by the World Health Organization (WHO) “In Times of Stress, Do What Matters”, the project seeks to offer emotional support and strategies to promote well-being, creating a space for sharing experiences. The group will meet online for a year, with sessions focused on different aspects of stress management. Informative lectures will also be offered to participants' families.

“This project is based on the Doing What Matters in Times of Stress guide. In it, we will learn how to manage stress, focusing on what really matters to you, to live a life worth living and, of course, taking advantage of games as a tool to help with this engagement. During the sessions, later in the project, we will create a space for unity with games, which will be a space in which disability will also have its space”explained Elzeário Oliveira.
