“Absolutely isolated situation” says Alexandre about the assault report

Alexandre Correa, Ana Hickmann's husband, spoke out this Sunday (12) on his Instagram. The post comes after the events of the last 24 hours, involving the presenter's name, in which she was taken to the police station after police officers were called to her home, due to a fight with her husband.

Alexandre said in his official statement that this would have been the first episode of violence, according to him “absolutely isolated situation” referring to the couple's disagreement, which resulted in a complaint by the presenter.

Earlier, Ana Hickmann admitted that she went to the police station to record what happened.

What does Alexander say?

In the statement post about the complaint made by his wife, published this Sunday afternoon (12), Alexandre apologizes to his family and denies that he attacked the presenter with a headbutt.

After the news about the couple's fight, and that she had injured her arm, internet users recalled several recorded moments of Alexandre behaving harshly. During his clarification note, Alexandre also adds that the appropriate facts will be clarified “at an opportune moment”, according to him.

The couple has been together for 25 years, as he states in the post, and this would have been the first time that the disagreement resulted in a complaint. Alexandre also clarifies that he respects not only Ana Hickmann, but all the women he works with as well.

On his Instagram, he is used to posting his daily life, Bible verses and routine with his 10-year-old son and with the presenter.

After the events, Ana Hickemann deleted the photos with Alexandre from her personal Instagram profile.

What happened

During the afternoon of this Saturday (11) Ana Hickmann received police officers at her home in Itu, where she lives with her husband and son, and was immediately accompanied to the police station to give a statement.

There, the presenter decided not to request a protective measure, but registered a police report against Alexandre, denouncing him for domestic violence and bodily harm.

The couple's fight would have taken place in the presence of their son and employees of the residence, where Alexandre would have pushed Ana Hickmann against the wall and threatened her with headbutts. Upon the arrival of the police at the residence, Alexandre left the place and was not found at the time. After the events, Ana Hickmann spoke through her press office.
