Abuse after quarrel with Lil Kleine – Lil Kleine got into an argument with a man in the night from Thursday to Friday in the Amsterdam nightclub AIR and that same person was abused later in the night by a group of men. The police suspect that these two things have to do with each other. Here’s what we know about what happened that night in the center of Amsterdam.
News about the case first came out via yvonne Coldeweijer’s juice channel Life of Yvonne. She reported that an incident took place in AIR in which the rapper would have fought. Then friends of Lil Kleine would have beaten up the man with whom earlier quarrel arose on the Blauwbrug, near the club.

An employee of AIR tells Het Parool that there was indeed a discussion in the club between Jorik Scholten – as Lil Kleine is actually called – and other visitors. This would have been pushed and pulled back and forth. Security guards intervened and separated the groups.
The fighters were then kicked out of the nightclub one by one. According to the employee, one of the people involved was then assaulted and robbed on the Blauwbrug.
The police suspect that “a conflict in a catering establishment earlier in the evening was the possible reason” for the abuse. This would amount to premeditated mistreatment. Also, the Rolex watch of the victim was stolen. No suspects have yet been arrested. However, the police want to get in touch with two taxi drivers who helped the victim and also spoke to officers during the night.
The victim was taken to the hospital after the incident. Police cannot say anything about the nature of the injuries the man sustained.
Lil Kleine’s lawyer confirms that his client was at the AIR nightclub on the night in question, but says he has nothing to do with the abuse. According to the lawyer, the artist was taken to his car by a security guard after the fight and then he left. Where Coldeweijer’s sources state that Lil Kleine instructed his friends to abuse the man, his lawyer says that he was not aware of what happened later that night.

The performance that Lil Kleine would give on Saturday at the FESTIVAL TIKTAK, has been canceled on Friday. The decision was announced before the air incident had made the news. The organization had announced a few days earlier that the rapper would perform, but that announcement led to many negative reactions.
“Our festival stands for inclusion, and we want to offer all our visitors a positive experience,” writes the organization with the news that the rapper is not coming after all.
Lil Kleine was discredited earlier this year by a leaked video in which it would be seen that he abuses his ex-girlfriend, Jaimie Vaes. Vaes has filed a complaint against him.
This case of abuse is still ongoing. In February this year, the rapper was sentenced to 120 hours of community service for what the judge called “senseless nightlife violence.” Scholten was found guilty of assaulting a man in an entertainment venue on Rembrandtplein.
