Actress Jennifer Garner celebrates her 50th birthday

“13 Going on 30” star Jennifer Garner turned 50 this past Sunday (17). The actress received thousands of loving messages after posting a funny video on her social network with the title “waking up on my birthday”. Among the comments, other stars such as Reese Witherspoon, Rita Wilson, Maria Shriver and Ina Garten also left their “congratulations”.

The day before, Ben Affleck's ex received a surprise from her idol Donny Osmond, an American singer and presenter. Jennifer was focused on her cell phone, watching a clip in which Osmond sings especially for her. And soon, Jennifer is surprised by the presence of the singer who appears behind her and hands her a decorated cake inside a box, with references to the film. “13 Going on 30”.

In her last TV appearance, Jennifer was interviewed by host Ellen DeGeneres on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where the actress recalled several moments in her career. Asked how she felt about turning 50, the Hollywood star said she was excited about the new phase. “I don’t know why I’m surprised to be turning 50, but I have this feeling of, ‘What’s going on, is this real?’ I don’t know, I suddenly like the idea that I’m allowing myself to believe that I know everything I know. It empowers me.”

In addition to other films, Jennifer also became known for playing the role of Elektra Natchios in Marvel's Daredevil. To the delight of fans, after eighteen years of the classic “13 Going on 30” in which Jennifer shared the scene with actor Mark Ruffalo, this year, the actress reappears alongside Ruffalo in Netflix's science fiction film “The Adam Project”. In a promotional campaign for the new film, the couple recreated a famous scene from the romantic comedy, in which Garner and Ruffalo eat Razzles together.
