Adekunle Gold, a Nigerian artiste, reacted to the trnasfer rumours of Ronaldo from Juventus to Manchester City. The 34-year-old singer and songwriter, Adekunle Gold didn’t shy to make his feelings known. He sent an open message to Ronaldo on his social media platform, begging the forward player not to go ahead with the move, adding that he will scream if it happens. He posted:

“Cristiano can’t do it. If CR7 really goes to City, I’ll scream.”

The singer, Adekunle Gold, appears to share the same sentiment with other fans. Some regarded it be an awkward reality, considering his accomplishment at the club.

Following the circulation of the news online, it has sparked many reactions as most fans, especially Machester United fans regard the move as a betrayal of loyalty.

Manchester City is often considered as a rival to Machester United, and Ronaldo having previously played at the latter club raised eye brows after his supposed intention to play for their rival. The GOAT, as some would say, gained most of his fan-base and limelight at the club. Hence, it doesn’t seem appropriate fro him to join Machester City.
