Adele breaks record with her new album

Adele said that the intention of the album is to tell the story of her divorce to her son and the title refers to the age that the Londoner was when she started recording the project. “30” is the fourth album in the singer’s career and has already been voted the best-selling musical product of the year on vinyl in the United States, having surpassed “Evermore” by Taylor Swift. In 2022, the singer will perform a series of 24 shows entitled “Weekends With Adele” which has already generated 50 million dollars in ticket sales, which averages out to 2.2 million dollars per show. This is another new record for the British.

Adele is the first woman with three or more albums to reach number one with all of these and her previous albums (“19”, “21” and “25”) had a strong response after the release of “30”. This was released on November 19th and its main single is “Easy on Me” which spent four weeks at number one for singles on Billboard magazine’s Hot 100. Adele now also seems to have embraced streaming once and for all, something she has always avoided. She is even responsible for making Spotify remove the possibility of listening to the album's songs at random. This greater adherence to streaming, on the part of the singer, is largely due to the fact that her latest album “30” has also been very successful on Spotify.
