Adele gets emotional in video about postponement of Las Vegas residency shows

Adele commented in a video released this Thursday (20), about the postponement of her tour shows. The Las Vegas residency would start next Friday (21) in the United States. The event was highly anticipated by fans and tickets were sold out even in pre-sale.

However, the tour had to be canceled due to Covid-19. Saddened by the cancellation so close to the event date, Adele appears crying in the video about the postponement and highlights: “I'm so sorry but my show is not ready. We tried everything we could to get everything ready in time but we are devastated with delays and Covid. Half my team has Covid and I can't offer you this right now. Sorry to let you know at such short notice.“

The shows would take place at The Colosseum theater, part of the Ceasers Palace hotel and would be his first tour with songs from his new album. 30.
