After Estêvão's injury, Palmeiras has a dispute for a place in the attack

Last Sunday (05), during Palmeiras' 5-0 win over Criciúma, in the 26th round of the Brazilian Championship Series A, the young athlete Estêvão, just 17 years old, felt some pain, having confirmed a posterior muscle injury, more specifically in his left thigh, which indicates the probable absence of the athlete in the duel against Vasco next Sunday (22), at 4 pm at the Mané Garrincha Stadium, in Brasília, in the 27th round of the Brasileirão.

Given this scenario, considering the absence of the Palmeiras player in this match, Palmeiras will need another athlete to replace him on the right side of the attack, opening up a dispute for this spot, which promises to become more intense in the coming days.

Options

With Estêvão unavailable, Abel Ferreira now has several alternatives for setting up the tactical scheme against Vasco, one of the most likely in his opinion would be to put Rony or Lázaro on the left wing, leaving the right wing in the responsibility of Felipe Anderson, who played in that position in his last years at Lazio, but the player also has a good adaptation to the left side.

Another possibility is to move Mauricio, who currently plays as a midfielder, in which case he would be moved to the left wing, culminating in the promotion of Raphael Veiga's return as a starter.
