It is no secret that Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan were struck by cupid on the sets of the 2008 film Tashan. The movie also starred Akshay Kumar.
Did you know that Akshay had in fact asked Saif to steer clear of Kareena and not pursue the actress as she came from a ‘dangerous family’.
Kareena revealed during a conversation it Twinkle Khanna on Tweak Indian that Akshay had taken Saif in the corner advised him not to woo Kareena at all. But, Saif went on to go down on one knee for Kareena and proposed to her during the making of the film and rest it history.
Kareena called being with Saif “some kind of karmic connection in a way” because she had been rejecting a few films that she was offered with Saif before she said yes to Tashan.
Kareena said, “Saif and Akshay were talking and Akshay kind of got the vibe that Saif and me were like connecting. Akshay took Saif in the corner and he was like, ‘listen, tread carefully because they are dangerous girls, this is a dangerous family and I know them, so dekh ke rah (be careful)’.”
