Remedy Entertainment said a little more about Alan Wake 2 this week, saying it should take players more than 20 hours to finish the game.
“It depends on your skills, but currently (and the game isn’t ready yet because a lot of the content is still being added) we’re looking at 20+ hours,” communications director Thomas Puha told the site. wccftech after being asked how long Alan Wake 2 will run.
Puha also commented that the version of Alan Wake 2 currently shown is not running with ray tracing, saying that this is something more focused on the game in its PC version and that they are still working on it.
“Well, there is no ray tracing in this Alan Wake 2 demo, and we’re not talking about the technical side of things, but this is more in the PC domain. We’re still working on all those things.”
In addition, the director explained that although the competition is fierce with other games (such as Spider-Man 2, Forza Motorsport and Assassin’s Creed Mirage) that will come out close to the launch of Alan Wake 2 in October, they are not worried.
Alan Wake 2 arrives October 17th for PS5, Xbox Series and PC (Epic Games Store).
