Alanis Guillen enjoys Iron Maiden show with Clara Buarque

Alanis Guillen, actress known for playing the character Juma in the soap opera Pantanal, enjoyed the first night of Rock in Rio alongside Clara Buarque in the event's VIP area.

The actress was seen enjoying the Iron Maiden show in the middle of the crowd, after being late for the start of the festival, she had to run to not miss the band's show.

Alanis and Clara, daughter of Carlinhos Brown, and granddaughter of Chico Buarque and Marieta Severo, are long-time friends, and were seen together enjoying a party during this year's carnival.

On Friday (2) Alanis and Guito, who plays the character Tibério in the soap opera, published photos having fun behind the scenes of the soap opera.

In an interview with journalist Joyce Pascowitc, Bruno Luperi, author of the remake of Benedito Ruy Barbosa's soap opera, revealed that he discussed with the author of the original work to keep Alanis Guillen in the cast of the soap opera.

According to Bruno, Benedito Ruy Barbosa wanted an already established actress to play Juma.

“When I went to talk to my grandfather about casting, he had some ideas for actresses. I said: 'Man, it's not possible. Juma is an animal that hasn't gone into heat. She's going to go into heat for the first time in front of us'”revealed Bruno, “He was completely against the profile of actress we were looking for for Juma. We didn't even have Alanis' name yet.”

Bruno even argued with his grandfather that the character in the plot is a young woman, when Benedito agreed with the statement, Bruno pointed out that a young and unknown actress would be the Juma they were looking for.

He also reported that Alanis' name would have come through a casting producer, and she soon became a favorite, according to Bruno, Alanis has a wild air, strength, delicacy and a “feline look”, the author also spoke a little about the choice of Jesuíta Barbosa to play the character Jove, according to him, Jesuíta escapes the image of a conventional heartthrob and has a more fragile appearance.
