Alcione Uma Lenda at the 30th Edition of the Mus Award. Brazil!

On the night of this Wednesday (31), the 30th ceremony of the Brazilian Music Award, with a special tribute to the singer Alcyone which featured new performances based on his repertoire. The event in the center of the wonderful city, welcomed several artists and was presented by Lázaro Ramos, Felipe Neto and Lilian Valeska.

The party was broadcast live on a big screen placed in Cinelândia and on the channels of Felipe Neto and PMB on YouTube, the broadcast started at 7:30 pm, showing the red carpet and behind the scenes. The ceremony was broadcast shortly after, at 9 pm.

The event was attended by several celebrities, such as Maria Bethânia, Caetano Veloso, Gloria Groove, Daniella Mercury, Juliette, Marina Sena, Fátima Bernardes, Rafa Kalimann, Seu Jorge, Diogo Nogueira, Duda Beat, Emicida, Péricles, Ferrugem, Luedji Lunabetween others.

The big honoree of the night, Alcione, is completing 5 decades of career this year and is one of the biggest record holders for the award's trophies. And some artists took advantage of the moment to talk a little about the singer as they walked the red carpet.

“Alcione is a living heritage of our culture. I'm happy to be able to experience this tribute, happy to be among so many important names”said actress Lucy Alves.

At the awards ceremony, several of the 75-year-old singer's hits were remembered, such as “Naughty Boy”, “My Strange Madness”, “My Addiction is You” and “Not Dead”. In addition to these songs, classic sambas were also not left out, such as “Don't Let Samba Die”, “Rio Antigo” and “Yummy Poison”.

It is worth remembering that the musical direction and arrangements of the show were by Black from Serrinha.

Finally, the ceremony was closed by the honoree herself, who, together with the DJ Pedro Sampaio and with the samba school from Rio de Janeiro, Estação Primeira de Mangueira, which will feature the singer as its plot, they sang “Don't Let Samba Die”.
