Alicia Keys asks for Brazilian music recommendations!

Alicia Keyspop artist and singer R&B and Soulowner of an incomparable voice, is also showing herself to be accessible and popular.

The interpreter of the famous songs “If I ain`t got you”, “No one” and the classic “Empire State of Mind”in partnership with Jay-Z, comes to Brazil in May for two performances: one in Rio de Janeiro and another in São Paulo.

The diva has already shown that she is excited for her shows, she posted on her Twitter last Wednesday (19) that the first stop is in the capital and Rio de Janeiro and is anxious. She even asked for recommendations of Brazilian songs.

In the comments of tweet there is no shortage of suggestions, some very funny, seeming to be a meme, like “Rap do Ovo” which twitter of memes @faustaofc recommended. There was even a recommendation for the song “São Paulo”, by Supla, which according to the post, is our version of Empire State Of Mind:

But memes aside, the public got involved by recommending current MPB artists who also sing romantic lyrics, just like Alicia, fans recommended Liniker, IZA, and Anitta's version of the classic Garota de Ipanema, “Girl From Rio”.

The tour Alicia + Keys World Tour already took place in Europe and North America in 2022, and featured a major production: new sets, lighting and costumes. It was a success and sold out tickets.

The shows of Alicia Keys will take place in Rio de Janeiro on May 3rd, at Jeunesse Arena, a classic venue for international concerts, and in São Paulo, on May 5th, at Allianz Parque. Tickets for both shows are still available on the Eventim website.

From Brazil, she continues her tour through Latin America, going to Argentina, Chile and Colombia, and ends with three shows in Mexico, on May 14, 17 and 19.
