Speaking of performance, in my time with the collection on the computer, using a machine equipped with a Ryzen 7 3800X, 2x8GB, NVMe x3 SSD, GeForce RTX 3070 and Windows 11, I had no problems keeping the frame rate at 60 fps or more full time in 1440p resolution using DLSS in quality mode, with graphics on Ultra. On the other hand, locations with many NPCs, such as the beginning of the game in Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, for example, are processor-intensive, and may cause performance issues on less powerful PCs, which do not have a CPU that is at least the level from a newer Ryzen 7 or Core i7. In places where most of the NPCs are just the enemies you face, the frame rate took off in my tests, even staying at 120 fps, with just a few exceptions, but never dropping below 60 fps. Loadings, even with the game installed on the SSD, took a little longer here compared to the PS5, where the transition is almost instantaneous. In addition, the first time you run the game, a shader installation message appears, and it is strongly recommended that you wait for this to be completed before starting to play. If you’re worried about whether you’ll understand the plot because you’ve never played the original trilogy on PS3, PS4 or PS5, don’t worry, you’ll still be able to enjoy these games with ease, since the stories of both don’t depend directly on the predecessors to be understood . Conclusion Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is yet another great port from Sony for the PC.
