Anitta announces medley of songs from the album

In full swing promoting “Funk Generation”, Anitta announces the launch of “Funk Generation – A Baile Funk Experience”, for Wednesday (01) today. The proposal will be for a medley audiovisual with songs from the singer's most recent studio album. Through Anitta's official YouTube channel, the performance will be available to the entire public, starting at 1 pm.

After the warm reception from fans to “Funk Generation”, Anitta took to social media, last Tuesday (30), to announce the project that will continue the promotions of her sixth studio album, “Funk Generation – A Baile Funk Experience.” In addition to the date and time provided, the singer shared new promotional photos and the teaser of performance medley.

Just like in the publicity images, Anitta initially appears in the video holding a baseball bat with spikes. Next, choreographed scenes, in close synchronization with the instrumental, excerpts from filming taken in outskirts and the use of different effects for editing, complement each other on the screen with the aim of capturing the viewer's attention.

Public response to the album

Since its launch on April 26th, “Funk Generation” has ensured a good commercial response. Considered Anitta's most ambitious bet on the music market to date, the album features a collection of songs sung in Portuguese, Spanish and English, with rhythmic elements of Brazilian funk.

In your stories on Instagram, the Rio native shared the most recent achievement of “Funk Generation” with her fans. The album made its debut on the “Top Albums – Debut Global” chart, in second position. “I have the best fans in the world! I'm very grateful! Brazil, our funk on the global charts!”celebrates the singer.

The disc, which has hits already known as “Joga Pra Lua” and “Double Team”, now, one of the focuses is the song “Grip”, which received a video clip on the same release date as “Funk Generation”. To learn more about the singer's new work, the album is available for playback on all digital streaming platforms.
