Anitta releases first music video for “Versions of Me Deluxe”

Singer Anitta launched the new music video “Cat” in a press conference, this Friday (08). The song is part of his album “Versions of me” which will have an extended version and two more clips of new songs. “Cat” is a partnership with Puerto Rican star Chencho Corleone, who was not present in the video. Anitta commented that the objective was to present two versions of herself: one who is in prison and the heroine. He added that the idea of ​​including cats in the production came from advertising for the intimate perfume “Puzzy”signed by the singer.

During the press conference, Anitta said that she had fun during the recordings and that she understood the fans' expectations due to the success of the single in April, but that his goal was to have all the album's productions deluxe already ready. She also commented on her partnership with Missy Elliot in “Lobby”, saying it was an honor to have her participate in the song. The clips will be released over the next few weeks, culminating in the premiere of “Versions of me Deluxe”. The singer commented that the new album will only present a small extension of the original.

The Brazilian commented saying that, since the turnaround with the views of “Involve”, I no longer have so many expectations after a phenomenon song. Said that the window of time between a large hit and another during her career made her more realistic about what might or might not be a success.

Anitta planned the release of “Cat” at the same time as she was preparing for endometriosis surgery, which took place at the end of July. The artist reported during the interview that all the videos and posts were ready before she entered the hospital and she stayed away from social media and commitments during her recovery process and only returned to action in the middle of this week.
