Anitta reports lost suitcases with her costumes

Anitta went through a difficult time on her European tour this Friday (24). The singer revealed on her Instagram that the suitcases containing her costumes and those of her dancers disappeared after being checked in, and that the company did not know what had happened to the suitcases. The artist has a show scheduled at Rock in Rio Lisbon this Sunday (26), and will then go to another performance in Dublin.

The singer begins by warning that a tour only starts when something goes wrong. “Now the tour has started. Until then it hadn't started yet. It only starts when everything starts to go wrong.”started.

Then she goes on to say that her bags were missing and that the airline didn't know what had happened. “My suitcase with all my costumes is gone. From the ballet, my… everything. It’s gone. No one can find it. We checked in a suitcase with everyone’s costumes to be more organized with everything. The suitcase with all my show clothes is gone. There are no clothes for the ballet, there are no clothes for me. The airline can’t find them.”

The singer said she no longer lost her concert costumes because she has her own way of tracking her suitcase. “And it only didn't all disappear because I went to do an ad and they gave me a bunch of dog tracking tags, but we put them in some suitcases.” She further states: “Now, the show’s costumes don’t have any”.

Anitta performed at Rock in Rio Lisbon in 2016 and in Rio in 2018, and revealed that her bags had gone missing in one of the editions. “Every Rock in Rio show is like this. Remember that last time the suitcase with all the ballet clothes disappeared? Only the ballet clothes, mine didn't have them.”

The singer then said that she believes she was scammed by the house she rented for her family to spend a season in Portugal. Anitta spoke in good humor and explained that she managed to resolve the situation. “If anyone has a house to rent to me in Portugal… (laughs). I hope my family doesn't have internet right now. My whole family wanted to visit Portugal, which is their dream, so I wanted the best experience for them. The contract was all set. The person disappeared, it was all over.”

She makes fun of the situation: “There is a serious risk that my family will land without having anywhere to go. We are each going to adopt a relative until I can sort out this million-dollar house that I paid for and that we don’t have the key to. There are more than ten people. It’s just in a movie!”she jokes, lightening the situation.
