Anitta stars alongside a dancer in the video for her new Spanish single, 'Envolver'

Aiming for even more recognition in her international career, Anitta announced on her social media last Monday (08) that her new single in Spanish is coming. 'Involve' will be released along with its music video next Thursday (11), at 10 pm, Brasília time, on the YouTube platform and on all current streaming services. In the daring clip, Girl From Rio caught the attention of internet users by acting alongside a dancer, her partner for the production.

The dancer who stars alongside the singer in the new music video is Ayoub. Anitta stated that her new song has reggaeton influences and the video will be “very hot”, as she herself says. “This song was saved and I decided to release it with a focus on the Latin market, but I'm sure everyone will enjoy it!”she said in a press release. “The rhythm is very engaging and the video is amazing!”, completed the carioca.

On their Instagram and Ayoub's, they both shared videos and photos together, including dancing.

The track is another step in Anitta's career outside of Brazil. For years, the singer has made significant progress in terms of her musicality and recognition abroad. 'Involve' arrives to be the successor of 'Faking Love' with rapper Saweetie. In addition, the Brazilian has feats with J Balvin, Iggy Azalea, Cardi B, Alesso, Ozuna, Rita Ora, Sean Paul, DJ Snake, Maluma, among others.

In an interview with Harper's Bazaar Brazil, in the edition in which she is on the cover, the artist revealed that she is already being recognized in restaurants and other places: “I’m already starting to get noticed in restaurants, at the gym and by the paparazzi. I can’t even go out in any clothes like I used to in the beginning.”he stated.

Recently, accompanied by Saweetie, Anitta was the first Brazilian to perform on The Late Late Show, James Corden's talk show, performing 'Faking Love'. On her Twitter, she celebrated the achievement: “On a scale of 1 to 10000000, how amazing was that? […] I had a lot of fun yesterday.”

Soon after, he used the same network to demonstrate his indignation at the lack of recognition in his own country: “There are things that you just can’t understand, right? Yesterday I was the first Brazilian to sing and give an interview on one of the biggest shows in the US. Today there are half a dozen people posting about it in my country. […]. This wouldn't intrigue me so much if it weren't for one thing: if yesterday, instead of being the first Brazilian on this program, I had been involved in some gossip, it would have become the biggest headline in the country.”

Regarding introducing funk abroad, Anitta states caution: “Here [nos EUA] Funk is something completely new. People have never heard it before, they're hearing it for the first time with my music. So I'm adding it little by little, I mix in some pop so they can get used to it better.”

'Involve' will be part of his new album, the 'Girl From Rio'which is expected to be released in early 2022. With no fixed release dates yet, the album has already confirmed a track in Portuguese with a feat not yet disclosed and a solo track in English.
