Anitta wins two awards and also puts on a show at Premios Juventud

This Thursday (25), Anitta went to San Juan, to participate in the Premios Juventud and ended up being one of the honorees, taking two statuettes. The Brazilian received the “Agent of Change” and “Best Collaboration” awards. Anitta caught attention when she appeared with her look, a black dress with lace and transparency. To finish, the Brazilian gave a performance singing tracks from her latest album “Funk Generation”.

Representing the LGBT+ community

Anitta went to Premios Juventud and won two awards, “Agent of Change” and the “Best Collaboration” category. She received the “Agent of Change” award, for globalizing the funk musical genre and being an active voice in the fight for rights for the LGBT+ community.

In her speech after winning the “Agent of Change” award, the Brazilian artist was very honored to receive such recognition and highlighted the importance of artists like her using their influence and inspiration to change the world: “What an honor! I really want to thank you. I believe that when we are artists and achieve so much visibility, it is very important that we use this, not only to be rich and famous, but also to change the lives of society. Change the world in some way. We have great power in our hands. It's great to be on the charts, to have numbers, to be successful, to fill arenas…But we can't forget that there is something much more important than that: changing people's lives. Thanks”.

Better collaboration

She received the honor for “Best Collaboration” due to her partnership with Peso Pluma, on “Bellakeo”, a song with a very Latin feel, with a classic reggaeton beat and a chorus that sticks in your head.

Anitta attended the event wearing a very different outfit, a black lace dress, full of details. This dress worn by the singer is from PatBo, Patrícia Bonaldi's Brazilian brand, and it was one of the pieces worn in the New York Fashion Week show, in the autumn/winter 2024 season.

Finally, the singer also performed singing “Fria”, “Lose Ya Breath” and “Cria de Favela”, all songs from her latest album “Funk Generation”. It was a show full of colors and a lot of energy.
