Antónia wears Brazilian fashion and stands out in Venice

The Venice Film Festival has been taking place since August 28th and will end on the 7th of this month. Last night (02), actress and singer Anttónia was present on the red carpet of the event and showed the world Brazilian fashion, with a dress by the renowned Alexandre Herchcovitch.

In an interview with Vogue Brazil, actress and singer Anttónia says that when she found out she would be participating in the Venice Film Festival, she asked her friend and stylist Pedro Sales for help, who suggested that she wear a dress by Alexandre Herchcovitch. The dress in question was made for Anttónia especially for the Venice Film Festival, and has a voluminous skirt with a chain detail at the top, matching the Pomellato jewelry worn by the actress and singer.

The actress and singer, daughter of Glória Pires and Orlando Morais, attended the premiere of the film “The Room Next Door”, by renowned film director Pedro Almodóvar. Also in an interview with Vogue Brazil, Anttónia said that, after Venice, she will go to Florence and, from there, to the Milan and Paris fashion weeks.

About the Venice International Film Festival

Along with the Cannes and Berlin Film Festivals, the Venice International Film Festival is considered one of the three major international film festivals. The festival usually takes place between late August and early September, and is also part of the Venice Biennale – one of the largest art exhibitions in the world. At this year's edition, Walter Salles' national drama, entitled “I'm Still Here”, received an average of 10 minutes of applause after its presentation, becoming one of the festival's favorites, alongside names such as Pedro Almodóvar and Tim Burton.
