Ashley Park wears a look by Brazilian brand PatBo in the series “Emily In Paris”

Emily In Paris has become one of the most acclaimed and beloved series produced by Netflix. Usually with episodes released all at once, in December, Netflix decided to do something different this time: just like Stranger Things, the streaming service released the first part of the 4th season on the last day (15), and the second part is expected to be released next month, in September.

One reason for commotion among Brazilians was the look worn by Ashley Park in the first episodes of the series. In it, the actress who plays Mindy appears wearing a look by the Brazilian brand PatBo. According to Patricia Bonaldi, the piece was chosen by the actress, together with the series' costume team. “Our relationship with Ashley deepened even further when she graced us with a PatBo show at NYFW. Since then, we have built a history of great affection and respect.”said Patricia, CEO of PatBo to Vogue Brazil.

The look features a bodysuit and a long skirt with a Jasmine print, hand-designed for the Spring 2023 collection. The bodysuit was embroidered in tulle with flower-shaped rhinestones, also handmade. According to Patricia, the actress's relationship with PatBo goes back a long way, as she also graced the brand's Fall 2023 collection show. PatBo has also dressed several celebrities, such as Beyoncé, Camila Cabello and Jennifer Lopez, in addition to having her own store in the Soho neighborhood of New York.

The series follows the journey of Emily, a marketing assistant who goes to work at the company's headquarters in Paris, one of the fashion capitals.
