Avril Lavigne announces music video in partnership with Machine Gun Kelly

After much anticipation from fans, singer Avril Lavigne announced that she will release the video for “Bois Lie”, third single from the album “Love Sux” which features a partnership with Machine Gun Kelly.

The Canadian singer confirmed the announcement through a euphoric post on Twitter. A video for the song was already expected, as Avril had been publishing some takes behind the scenes of the current tour together with Machine Gun Kelly, where many images were captured. The two artists continue on tour in the United States and Canada.

Between suspense and anxiety, the new music video will be the third of the era “Luve Sux” which you already have “Bite Me” and “Love It When You Hate Me”, in partnership with Blackbear, as singles. The album released in February this year establishes the artist as a unique pop rock star. With its visual work, the album capitalizes on the artist's essence within this scenario.

For Brazilian fans, the releases are like a warm-up for the shows that the rock darling will perform in the country this second half of the year. She has a show scheduled for September 7th in São Paulo, at Espaço Unimed (formerly Espaço das Américas).

The agenda in the country continues to Rio de Janeiro, where on September 9th the singer will perform on Rock in Rio's Sunset Stage. The show is one of the most anticipated of the event, after the announcement Avril thanked the love she received from fans and seemed very excited for the presentation: “I agreed to play at the Rock In Rio festival and everyone went crazy with the news. It's so exciting and so special to still have such a solid fan base over the years. I honestly attribute it to the time I spent in all these other countries on tour and how dedicated I was. I've dedicated my entire life to my music, and I often think about how special and unique it is to have this as my life. And I am very grateful”.

The shows take place alongside the celebration of the artist’s 20th anniversary and the album “Lets Go”which has the hits “Complicated”, “Sk8er Boi”, “I'm With You” and “Losing Grip”. The work put Avril in the spotlight and to this day she is considered one of the main artists of the movement emocore.
