Awesome Team at the Theater!

Names like Maitê Proença, Ana Beatriz Nogueira and Malu Mader took advantage of the weekend to go to the theater. In Rio de Janeiro, two great shows are on show, such as Heloísa Périssé, which presents the comedy “The Shining” at the theater XP Investimentos. The celebrities honored Heloísa, who created the entire piece based on her overcoming cancer that she had in 2019, in addition to the pandemic that happened in the same year.

“I took the shit and made fertilizer” says the main character Tia Doro, who has a story full of ups and downs (more downs than ups but that's ok). Played by Heloísa, the speaker when she was born was baptized by her parents as Dorothy of Sorrows and since then it has become a reference when it comes to resilience. From an eccentric family, she experienced bullying at school and in her relationships things were not easy either. Inspired by lectures TED, The show offers the audience a new way of seeing life. Based on the law of mathematics, that less is more, the character goes through the process of enlightenment and transformation.

The plot was written by important playwrights from Germany and contemporary Europe.
