Bad Religion celebrates 40 years on the road with new shows

Due to social distancing caused by the Covid 19 pandemic, Bad Religion was unable to carry out the tour that would mark their 40 years of dedication to punk rock. But of course this date could not go unnoticed.

Therefore, to celebrate the four decades of the American punk/hardcore band, a series of online events will be held via streaming and divided into four episodes filmed at the legendary The Roxy, in Los Angeles, California. Decades will you bea special series where each of the four chapters will include live performances, exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes coverage of the recording.

Bad Religion will also participate in a live chat at the beginning of each episode. For those who want to delve deeper into the band's history and learn even more about these 40 years on the road, Do What You Want – The story of Bad Religion is the biography released in Portuguese which brings everything you ever wanted to know about one of the most important names in American punk/hardcore.

I can speak for the entire band when I say that we were very disappointed not to be able to tour this year… Decades will allow new fans, as well as those who were there at the beginning, to get a rich insight into our entire career and witness the changes in composition at each stage of our evolution”, he said Greg Graffinlead singer of the band.

THE combo with Tickets for four episodes are on sale for $40, but each chapter can also be purchased and watched separately for $15 each. Ticket sales are ongoing this way.

Each episode will always premiere at 2pm (Pacific Time).
– December 12: Bad Religion, the 80s.
– December 19: Bad Religion, the 90s.
– December 26: Bad Religion, the 2000s.
– January 2: Bad Religion, the 2010s

80s
In the debut episode, the band will play songs from classic albums such as How Could Hell Be Any Worse, Suffer and No Control, as well as participating in a conversation about what it was like to be punk in a world dominated by Pacman, President Reagan and evangelical pastors on TV.

90s
In this episode, Bad Religion will talk about the growing pains and lessons learned during a decade of important albums such as Against The Grain, Generator, Recipe For Hate, Stranger Than Fiction, The Gray Race and No Substance, which transformed the band into a of the most influential of our time.

2000s
The set list included hits from The New America, The Process of Belief, The Empire Strikes First, New Maps of Hell, and a chat about the arrival of a new millennium and how they continued to release some of their most beloved records to date.

2010s
In the final episode, Bad Religion will play songs from more recent albums, such as The Dissent of Man, True North and Age Of Unreason, which did not go on tour due to the pandemic, but which will now have live versions. In this chapter, the band will also talk about the legacy accumulated over these 40 years. Unmissable!
