Thursday, April 14, 2022, after 35 days of competition, the grand finale of “Pekin Express” was broadcast on M6. The Belgian brothers Lucas and Nicolas were stronger than their opponents Jeremy and Fanny during the sprint event in Dubai and it was in tears that they crossed the finish line.
Thursday, April 14, 2022 took place the grand finale of the 15th season of Beijing Express, called On the lands of the golden eagle, on M6. After a fierce race of several weeks, it was finally Lucas and Nicolas who won, thus winning the 100,000 euros of winnings at stake!
The two Belgian brothers have remained complicit and united throughout their adventure, especially during the last sprints in Dubai against the other finalists, Fanny and Jérémy.
The two men, aged 29 and 37, were the favourites in the competition after winning eight amulets, which is the record for victories in the history of Beijing Express.
Overwhelmed by emotion when they understood that they had won, it was in tears that they joined Stéphane Rotenberg. “We did it. We did it together. I’m proud of you,” said the eldest Nicolas to his little brother.

Throughout their adventure, Lucas and Nicolas lived incredible moments, crossing Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Jordan before discovering Dubai. “The most beautiful memory is the adventure itself.
It is made of good times and bad. In the end, everything is exceptional. Whether it was the race, the events, the people we were able to meet. The whole adventure is great,” Nicolas told Gala.
The return to reality has not been easy. If Nicolas was very happy to find his little wife, his children, his colleagues and his construction site, his brother Lucas had more trouble recovering.
“It took me two to three weeks to land well. It was more complicated for me. After having lived an extraordinary adventure, we find a life with phones and emails, “he explained to our colleagues.
