Bernard Lavilliers – On June 16, Bernard Lavilliers performed in concert on the mythical stage of the Olympia in Paris. A show marked by a beautiful moment: the presentation of a platinum record. A prize shared with his discreet wife, Sophie Chevallier-Lavilliers.

At 75 years old, singer Bernard Lavilliers is still on the road! The artist, who has embarked on a new tour, settled down at the Olympia from 16 to 19 June 2022; the Terrenoire group provided in the first part.

During his first date in the Parisian room, he shared his pleasure with his loyal audience but also with his half, his wife Sophie.

Indeed, behind the scenes of the concert we could discover that Bernard Lavilliers received a platinum record (for 100,000 copies). His latest album, titled Sous un soleil énorme, was released in 2021.

It was then his 23rd studio album! And he shared his award with his wife Sophie Chevallier-Lavilliers because she participated in the graphic creation of this musical project. Since 2003, he has been sharing his life with this discreet woman, who avoids the worldliness of show business.

They met at the time in Martinique. From his previous relationships, the singer of the hit On The Road Again became a father of four children.

Interviewed jointly in 2019, by the magazine Paris Match, the couple had evoked their professional collaboration that has lasted for a few years now.

And Sophie hadn’t taken gloves to describe her lover “Bernard knows what he wants. He can be fierce when he says no. We talk a lot about what I propose to him because, for a long time, the work on these things was not done, “she said then.

And the wife of Bernard Lavilliers to specify that when she does not work on the visual aspects of the musical projects of her lover, she still accompanies him on tour and multiplies the caps. “During concerts, I work. I’m not treated better than a musician, it’s the least I can do,” added Sophie.

This award was therefore enjoyed by the duo, who were also surrounded by guests such as Thierry Frémaux or Gilbert Coullier.

The singer will return to the Olympia from 27 to 30 October 2022. In the meantime, it is elsewhere in France that we will be able to find him on stage.
