Beyoncé confirms new era album trilogy that was recorded during pandemic

Beyoncé is making a comeback. There has been a lot of speculation about the release of the singer's mysterious new album. Titled “RENAISSANCE Act I”, the trilogy of albums is already a reality. Some fans have already received the physical versions of the project, both CD and vinyl, and have posted photos confirming that Beyoncé's new era will consist of three acts.

As soon as fans received copies of “RENAISSANCE Act I,” photos of the printed booklet included in the project began to circulate and be shared. In the dedication, Beyoncé expresses her gratitude to those who contributed to the creation of the album, thus reaffirming the three acts.

“This three-act project was recorded over three years during the pandemic. A time to be quiet, but also a time when I found myself at my most creative. Making this album became a place to dream and find an escape during a scary time for the world. It allowed me to be free and adventurous… My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgement, a place to be free from perfectionism and thoughts, a place to scream. Let go, feel freedom. This is a beautiful journey of exploration.”, the singer posted.

Beyoncé also thanked her uncle Johnny: “A big thank you to my uncle Johnny, he was my godmother and the first person to expose me to a lot of music and culture that served as inspiration for this album..”

This is one of the most anticipated and grandiose projects of Queen B's career. Beyoncé's last album was “Lemonade”, and shortly after, the singer took a six-year hiatus from her career.

The new album “RENAISSANCE Act I”, will be available on digital platforms this Friday (29), containing 16 tracks, will be the album of a trilogy celebrating black music and culture, also containing a sample of hits that marked Beyoncé's career. The songs will be in the uptempo style, where it has a strong dance, house and techno orientation.
