Beyoncé has the best album and song of the year, according to LA Times

One of the most important newspapers in the United States, the Los Angeles Times, published a series of lists of the year's best works in various fields of culture and entertainment. According to the publication, Beyoncé was one of the highlights of the season. The singer topped the list of the best albums of the year with “Renaissance” and topped the list of the best songs of 2022.

Regarding the complete work of the North American star, the publication opined:

“Pop’s deepest-thinking superstar doesn’t really deal in anything other than big, important statements. Yet the textural scope and intellectual rigor—not to mention the emotion and sheer pleasure—of this loving tribute to black and queer dance music pioneers is still stunning to behold. After an ode to international pop music, the newspaper chooses “Motomami” by Rosalía and “Un Verano Sin Ti” by Bad Bunny as the second and third best albums of the year. “Break My Soul” has stood out in the top songs of the American publication in recent months, but Brazilians can celebrate Anitta's presence in the top 15 with her global hit “Envolver”.
