'Billboard Music Awards 2022' will have Anitta to present category

This Sunday (15), the important “Billboard Music Awards 2022” will take place in the United States, and the confirmed presence is the singer Anitta who will be alongside big names in global music.

After the singer performed at Coachella 2022, Anitta was announced by Billboard's official account on social media, among the list of personalities who will present in a total of 62 award categories. The singer posted a photo from the latest issue of the magazine, and is also the current cover girl of Billboard magazine and she wrote in her post: “This month I'm on the cover of Billboard and Latin Billboard, celebrating the best phase I've had in my career.” And to complete the confirmation of the singer's presence, Billboard's official account responded in the comments, writing: “See you at #BBMusicCon and the #BBMAs.” Check out the post below:

In addition to the singer, there will be singers such as Chlöe, Dixie D'Amelio, Givēon, DJ Khaled, Liza Koshy, Michael Bublé, some celebrities who are confirmed to present the awards.

As for the artists, there will be the presence of model Heidi Klum, AleXa, Dove Cameron, City Girls, Lainey Wilson, Pusha T, Shenseea, French Montana and Teyana Taylor who will also present the awards. Check out the official post of the celebrities who will present the award below:

The competitors will be the singer The Weeknd who leads the list of 2022 nominees, not surprisingly, he is competing in 17 of the 62 categories. Soon after, singer Doja Cat accumulated 14 nominations, followed by Justin Bieber, Ye (Kanye West) and Olivia Rodrigo, each with 13 categories. K-Pop BTS is the most nominated duo/group, with 7 nominations.

So far, the celebrities who are scheduled to perform at the awards show will be Ed Sheeran, Megan Thee Stallion, Becky G, Florence + the Machine, Maxwell, Travis Scott and Miranda Lambert alongside Elle King, Silk Sonic, Burna Boy, Morgan Wallen, Latto and Rauw Alejandro. Additionally, singer Mary J. Blige will perform and receive the Icon Award.

From 7:30 pm it will be broadcast on E! celebrity looks on the red carpet. Furthermore, in Brazil, the award ceremony will be broadcast on the TNT channel, and it will also be possible to follow the event through the YouTube channel.
