Billie Eilish announces concert debut on Apple Music platform

Billie Eilish announced this Monday (26) that one of the shows on her tour “Happier Than Ever, The World Tour” will be registered and released by the streaming Apple Music. The singer published on her official Twitter account a teaser for the debut of the performance on the platform. The video shows moments from the show at the O2 Arena, in London, with the title track as the soundtrack.

The music “Happier Than Ever” was a viral success on the internet and the tour was highly praised by the public and critics. The album was nominated for eight awards and won three, including Best Alternative Album of the Year.

Zane Lowe (Apple Music), commented in his statement to billboard that the show is a gift for Billie's fans who weren't able to watch one of the best shows of 2022, and for those who did and will be able to relive the moment. O setlist from this tour included hits from other albums, such as Bad Guy, Ocean Eyes It is Bury a Friend. Her brother, musician and producer, Finneas joined Billie in the performances.

The premiere of the show on the platform will take place next Friday (30), on the same day as the last show of the tour, in Perth, Australia, at 11pm (Brasília time) and will be exclusive to Apple Music subscribers. The initiative is part of an exclusive function of the streamingThe Apple Music Livewhere live performances are shown every month.

In her invite, Billie wrote, “I'm so excited to bring the tour'Happier Than Ever' to the Apple Music Live. I'm just so excited that you're going to get to see it, this is my favorite tour I've ever done in my career and you're going to get to see it on Friday.”

“Happier Than Ever, The World Tour” had been announced in May 2021 and began in February 2022. This is the singer’s first world tour after the cancellation of “Where Do We Go?” in 2019.
