Billie Eilish talks about new personal maturity and reveals her fascination with women

Singer Billie Eilish gave an interview to Variety this Monday (13), and during the chat the pop diva addressed topics such as identity, insecurities, growing up in the spotlight, as well as her admiration and fascination with women.

During a conversation with Variety, Billie, who is recognized by the public for wearing looser, more masculine clothes, said that she feels insecure about her femininity. “I never felt like a woman, to be honest with you. I never felt desirable. I never felt feminine. I always have to convince myself that I’m a pretty girl,” he said. The artist also added that she identifies with the pronoun “she”, but has never felt like a girl.

The singer also addressed issues related to her body, such as the criticism she receives when she wears more sensual clothes, as well as people's astonishment regarding the size of her breasts. “I have big breasts. I've had big breasts since I was nine years old and that's how I am. That's how I am. You wear something that's totally revealing and everyone's like, 'Oh, but you don't want people to sexualize you?' I am literally a sexual being sometimes.”he said. The artist also reported that when it comes to men, no one comments on their physique, regardless of their body, but with women it is different.

Regarding her current life, Billie explained that nowadays she feels very good about herself, as she is doing work that makes her feel proud of herself, in addition to being in a period of self-love. The singer also complements the statement by saying that she feels as if “I was waking up now.”

Relationship with women

Still in the interview, the singer revealed that she loves and feels very connected to women. Even though she does not expose her sexuality, the artist said that she feels attracted to girls, in addition to establishing a deep relationship with all of them. Billie added that, in addition to the connection she has with girls, she is also physically attracted to them, but is intimidated by the women's beauty and presence.
