Birgit Schuurman expecting second son
Birgit Schuurman is expecting a son, the singer and actress announced Tuesday via Instagram. It is the first child for Schuurman and her friend Sander van Haarlem.
“Super happy and grateful to be able to tell you that I have a little brother for Chico in my belly,” the 43-year-old actress wrote alongside a series of photos with her boyfriend. “Life is full of surprises and I’m full of life.”
Her older sister Katja also reacts with delight to the news: “I’m so happy!”
Schuurman already has a son, Chico, from her marriage to director Arne Toonen. The couple split in 2019. The actress has been with Van Haarlem for two years now.
