Black Desert celebrates 10th anniversary with new class

Pearl Abyss decided to throw a medieval party fit for kings and queens to celebrate 10 years of Black Desert. The Heidel Banquet was held at the impressive Beynac Castle, there in France, where all the great secrets of the MMORPG's future were revealed.

With so much time on the road, Black Desert shows that it still has firewood to burn, and it's not much!

Do-Sa: The new class

Get ready, warriors, because Do-Sa is coming! This new swordsman isn't just another pretty face. The guy uses a Hwan sword and a Gombangdae pipe to deceive and finish off his enemies. Want to see Do-Sa in action? It will be available in the game from July 3rd. Have you ever imagined summoning ghost warriors and using smoke to troll your opponents?

Land of Dawn: Seoul

The Land of Dawn: Seoul expansion will make you feel like you're strolling through South Korea. In partnership with the Korean Cultural Heritage Administration, the guys recreated Gyeongbokgung Palace in jaw-dropping detail. And for those who enjoy a good story, there will be more than 6,000 lines of dialogue and 40 cutscenes based on Korean folklore. Additionally, we will have the Black Temple renovated for up to five players to face eight terrifying bosses. It's going to be a real nightmare, in a good way!

Hardcore PvP Servers

For PvP veterans who enjoy a challenge, Hardcore Servers are the new battleground. With PvP always activated and characters starting at level 60, the parade will be frantic. He died? Go straight to prison! And you only get out of there if you win a duel. Are you looking to survive and reach the top of the rankings? So prepare your skills, because the fight is going to be intense.

Guild Changes

Guilds were also not left out of the news. Now, clans will be able to define their identities and goals more clearly. And there's more: guilds that excel in PvP or PvE will be able to win epic rewards, such as a flying dragon as a mount. Who doesn't want to fly around on a dragon, right?

Jordine's Saga Reimagined

The character Jordine, loved (or hated) by many, will get a complete rework. The new Jordine Saga will bring more dialogue with improved voice, cutscenes and gameplay. The new saga arrives on June 26th on PC and July 10th on consoles.

Native Version of PlayStation 5

And for those lucky enough to have a PS5, Pearl Abyss showed a comparison video between the PS4 and PS5 versions of Black Desert. The difference is stark! Improvements in detail, lighting, faster loading times and more frames per second. If everything goes well, this version will arrive in December.
