South Korean pop group BTS is the most followed music group on social media’s most influential channels, according to Guinness World Records. The boy band has gained status on Instagram, Twitter and TikTok since last month.

On Instagram, the counter for BTS is at more than 60.5 million followers. That number is a lot higher than other music groups with worldwide fame have on the platform.

The band is in 55th place of most followed accounts in total, there is no other music group in that top 100. 

Singer Selena Gomez is the most followed artist on Instagram with over 300 million fans.

BTS has broken One Direction’s record on Twitter. 

The group has more than 44.3 million followers compared to more than 31.2 million of its British counterpart. On TikTok, BTS has nearly 46 million followers.
