Brazil reach Olympic final
Brazil face Either Spain or Japan in the final on Saturday. Antony had a starting place and was substituted after 90 minutes. In his country’s previous four games, he also appeared at kick-off.
Brazil were already close to victory in the closing stages of regular time. However, top scorer Richarlison, already scoring five goals at the Games, headed in the post. Brazil were also awarded a penalty, but the video referee overturned that decision.
Antony will miss the start of the season for Ajax, who will compete with PSV for a win of the Johan Cruyff Scale on Saturday.
